Rupert Manfredi

Rupert is a designer and programmer focused on the future of the web, machine learning, and interfaces, with a mission to give humans more agency over their computers. As the co-founder of Telepath, he’s building new paradigms for agent-based computing and user experiences. Originally from Sydney and now based in San Francisco, he previously worked on the design team at Adept after moving from Australia.

Rupert’s experience spans leading technology companies including Mozilla’s Innovation Studio, where he built machine learning products and created the LangView library for generative interfaces, and Google Creative Lab, where he developed novel user interfaces using early neural networks. Rupert is an active speaker and researcher, presenting at conferences like Causal Islands and Web Directions, with published research on AI music interfaces and thought leadership on AI’s impact on creativity and intellectual property.
