If I had to put myself into one of the buckets that constitute job titles, “Design Engineer” might be closest to my own sense of self-identification. That or just plain old “Web Designer”—there’s just so many jobs when it comes to building software.
When we started Web Directions it was for Web Designers and Web Developers. These titles probably don’t really exist any more–one of the core audiences for a lot of our events is Design Engineer-here Jim Nelson discusses the role in more detail.
