Computers (whether it’s your laptop, your desktop, your phone, or the servers that serve websites) consume power. That power has to be generated often by burning fossil fuels. It uses water for cooling, particularly on the surface side. In recent years, we’ve begun to think about the environmental impact of the sites that we build.
