Jon Tan

Jon Tan is a designer who runs the Mild Bunch studio and founded Fontdeck, the van­guard web font service that ran from 2009 to 2018, making some of the world’s best typefaces available to web designers and developers.

He was formerly a partner at Fictive Kin and Analog, crea­tive director at OmniTI, and founder of the early web co-op Grow Collect­ive, where he worked with clients ranging from small start-ups to house­hold names such as the BBC and Nation­al Geo­graphic.

He writes for publications such as Typographica, talks about design at conferences such as An Event Apart, and leads teams making durable, inclusive, aesthetic design for screens, hands, and paper.
