As I’ve been experimenting with AI, I’ve wondered what “used well” might look like. There are several scenarios, and they’re all different. My current model of the possibility space is a two-by-two matrix:

We may be reaching the ‘end of the beginning’ of generative AI. The chat with everything phase. The just add a magic star icon thingy button.

It was a party trick, it wowed us when it first arrived.

We have to think more deeply about where the value lies. Like Jorge Arango does in this piece.
